About the Author
Eddie Jaku OAM was a Holocaust survivor, speaker, and author. Born Abraham Jakubowicz in Leipzig, Germany, in 1920, he was imprisoned during World War II in Buchenwald and Auschwitz concentration camps. After surviving the Holocaust, he later moved to Australia, where he lived for many years with his family. Eddie Jaku became known for sharing his message of gratitude, tolerance, kindness, and hope. He passed away in October 2021 at the age of 101.
